One YouTube video and roughly a split second later, and the Nørrebro teenager, Kidd went from street-smart kid to well-known rapper, and a household name in Denmark. ‘Kidd Life’ is the wild story of this unorthodox hip-hopper. The Nørrebro-based documentarist, Andreas Johnsen, has followed Kidd all the way – from the time when no one knew him, up until the astonishing announcement, that the whole thing was staged as an attack on the established music industry.
