Daniel Borgman’s Danish feature debut, about 11-year-old Adrian, and his struggles in life, is imbued with a raw energy and powerful, poetic imagery. Borgman is, without a doubt, a great film talent, and his short films have already made their mark at the film festival in Cannes. His debut in no way disappoints. A both harsh and beautiful film, which can be stylistically, not to mention, favourably compared to ‘Ratcatcher’ and ‘I’m Not Scared’
