Second hand shopping

If you are a bargain hunter, Aarhus offers a wide range of antique- and secondhand shops, where you can make a good find.

Kirkens Korshærs shop, Jolly KK, at Vestergade 37 specializes in retro-secondhand items, the selection primarily consists of 1950′es, 1960′es and 1970′es products.

Several of the shops carry a selection of vinyl LP’s if you prefer the original sound.

One of the places, where you can find vinyl LP’s is at The Danish Cancer Society (Kræftens Bekæmpelse) store; IGEN in Åbogade 36, 8200 Aarhus N.

If music is not your main goal when visiting secondhand shops or markets, there is a recurring flea-market at Ingerslevs Boulevard every 1st Sunday of the month from April to September. The market opens at 10.00 and closes at 16.00 and offers a nice opportunity for you to pay a visit on Sunday 6 May before heading home.

In Aarhus you can also find secondhand book shops, one of them, ‘Bogshoppen’, lies in Nørregade.
