The international feel is well-known from Anders Rhedin’s previous projects such as Moon Gringo or Jong Pang. And in Dinner, the baritone voice is once again clad in an enchanting aural aesthetic. The off-kilter pop experiments of the loosely connected scene in L.A., where Rhedin has his base, shine through in the synth-heavy compositions and are contrasted by the familiar new-romantic touch.
