Mix-up The Temporary Radio

Follow the artist The Temporary Radio

Venue: Godsbanens foyer | Date & Time: Saturday 13:00

Louise Vind Nielsen will be performing the piece THE TEMPORARY RADIO, where she will create an invisible architectonic space in the great web of time. This alternative space floats across the private and public spheres, penetrating offices, prison cells, artistic spaces, workspaces, classrooms, and bedrooms.

Through the piece, Louise Vind Nielsen explores what happens, when we collectively take part in this space and send something fresh through the system.

Behind the project is an open radio collective of artists, amateurs, poets, artists, intellectuals, homosexuals, musicians, artisans, and people from different places in the world.

The works of the collective are based on the premise that radio should be a space for collective processes, critical examination, experiments, fiasco, and learning. This space is necessary to have a cultural and political impact on the people who are involved in radio – production and listening alike. It’s important that the listeners know that the place of broadcast is nearby, so that people will have the opportunity to visit the studio and change their role from passive listener to active participant.
